So Long, Kid

A True Family Man

The infectious smile was always there. His unbridled joy of playing baseball was evident everyday and his excellence behind the plate was undeniable. But perhaps his greatest attribute was that he brought character to the game. He was a Hall of Fame player on the field just as much as a Hall of Fame person off the field. His devotion to his faith and family was just as real as his on-field play. He was taken away way to soon. For 'The Kid' may he rest in peace.
