Somewhere Scott Boras is smiling a 'Cheshire Grin'. All it takes is one dumb owner who looking at his roster will see that one more piece is needed to make the run to the World Series. Tigers owner Mike Ilitch decided that Prince Fielder is that one piece. It remains to be seen how it all works out. It did for the Yankees when they signed Alex Rodriquez but now they're saddled with a contract that weighs them down for years. One positive is Prince is 27 years old and in his prime. The Tigers should be a force for a long time......The 'Core Four' is now down to two, Mariano Rivera and Derek Jeter. Jorge was a great player for the Yankees and will eventually have his number retired and to have played for one team for his career is a rarity in this age of free agency. Good Luck Jorge!
